Welcome to GamingHerd! By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use GamingHerd.

1. Platform Overview

GamingHerd is an approval-only gaming community that offers matchmaking services for gamers. By joining, you commit to upholding our community standards and policies.

2. User Responsibilities

By using GamingHerd, you agree to:

  • No Cheating: Any form of cheating or unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
  • No Toxic Behavior: Respect all community members. No harassment, abuse, or hate speech.
  • No Sexism or Racism: Discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • No Scamming: Users are prohibited from attempting to scam or defraud others.
  • No Illegal Content: Users must not share, post, or distribute any illegal content or materials.
  • No Platform Abuse: Users must not misuse or exploit the platform in ways that undermine its functionality or intended use.

3. Account Creation

  • Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • Account creation requires a valid email and password.
  • Full access to the platform is granted only after approval by a GamingHerd admin.

4. Communication

  • Users may send chat messages, including images, directly to other users or in groups.
  • All communication must adhere to the community policies outlined in Section 2.

5. Termination of Services

GamingHerd reserves the right to terminate or suspend any account for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to:

  • Cheating
  • Racism
  • Sexism
  • Breaking community rules
  • Being banned on other related platforms

6. Appeals Process

If your account is terminated or suspended, you may appeal by contacting GamingHerd staff via email at [email protected] or through our Discord server.

7. Disclaimers

  • GamingHerd is not responsible for any scams or fraudulent activity between users.
  • We are not liable for any content accessed through external links shared in messages.

8. Limitation of Liability

GamingHerd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use our services.

9. Pricing and Refund Policy

  • Currently, GamingHerd is free to use. In the future, we may introduce a subscription model.
  • No refunds will be provided except under extenuating circumstances, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

10. Data Collection and Usage

  • We collect data from your Steam account and scrape data from Leetify and FACEIT.
  • This data is used for matchmaking and to provide information to other users.
  • We do not share your data with third parties, except as necessary to scrape data from Leetify and FACEIT.

11. Jurisdiction

GamingHerd currently serves users in North America. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the US and Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
